Dave Sieburg

Dave has been driving creative content for over 20 years, from broadcast networks to brands like Google, Hyundai, and Seagate. As an award-winning scriptwriter and editor, Dave’s career developed into directing commercials and documentaries. In his spare time, Dave devotes himself to post-disaster relief in places such as New Orleans, Haiti, and the Philippines.
Eric Thiermann
Founder & Director
Before founding IMPACT in the late ’70’s, Eric earned an MFA from UCLA in motion pictures and taught film writing and production at the Art Center College of Design. Eric has traveled to more than 40 countries producing documentary, narrative, VR, promotional, and advocacy video content. He scored an Oscar nomination in 1984 for the doc short “In the Nuclear Shadow” and was DP on the Oscar-winning short doc “Women – for America, for the World” (1987).
Deva Blaisdell-Anderson
Creative Director
Deva has been passionate about film since she saw The Goonies as a kid. She earned her BA in Film & Digital Media from UC Santa Cruz and has been producing commercial content and directing award-winning indie films for over a decade. Deva thrives under the pressure of production and especially enjoys working with actors on narrative projects. After researching her thesis on the under-representation of Hawai’i in film and media, Deva began creating content focused on Hawai’ian history, culture and experience.
Philip Lima
Director of Photography
For more than a decade, Philip has worked as a Director of Photography across the globe, partnering with clients such as Hyundai, Google, Seagate and USAID. Philip is an expert in digital cinema cameras and has worked with RED cameras since their launch in 2007. He is a highly respected FAA certified aerial DP and specializes in shooting high-end video from UAV platforms. Philip is also a competitive athlete and consistently finishes top of his age group in west coast triathlons.
Donald Eldridge
Managing Director
Donald specializes in directing productions with a technical twist. Rear projection, hyper-lapses, high speed cameras, or robotic stabilizers become the seasoning to make products pop off the screen. Donald’s innate ability to keep the team on track has landed him in management roles for multi-year marketing campaigns for Google and Seagate. His determined nature helps him overcome any project challenge and crush brackets during NCAA’s March Madness at the Impact studio.
Joe Goldin
Creative Technologist
Joe has always been drawn to exploring immersive storytelling and creating new worlds for others to experience. As a researcher in the High Level Perception lab at UC Santa Cruz, Joe used his passion and skills to investigate human perception and embodiment using Virtual Reality. His research, development, and integration of emerging technology for interactive experiences has helped create a whole new business vertical at Impact Creative, and manages all trade show experiences.
